Secret Code Studio (SCS) is a free offline desktop tool for creating, sharing and deciphering secret messages using symbol-based alphabets.

Write a normal message and watch it transform into symbols using your chosen code alphabet, or switch to decipher mode to translate coded messages back into readable text.

SCS originally began because my son wanted a way to create coded messages for his friends. What started as a simple little idea gradually became a complete tool for creating alphabets, coded messages and printable puzzles.

It's designed to be approachable enough for children while still giving people who enjoy ciphers, invented alphabets and puzzles plenty to experiment with.
